A few months ago, our good friend April, co-owner of Gondola Servizio, was going to be featured in This is Oakland: A Guide to the City’s Most Interesting Places, a photo-driven travel/guide book that profiles the most interesting places to visit in Oakland. When she asked us to be part of the photo shoot, we absolutely said yes! We knew the book was going to be amazing and we definitely wanted it for our own coffee table so being in the book was an added bonus.
Can you spot us? It took so much restraint to refrain from sharing this before the book was published!
Marc and I have been working on a photo contest about how much we love Oakland and when April contacted us to collaborate on hosting a meet and greet/book signing with This is Oakland, we realized that this was the perfect opportunity to launch it. What’s even more exciting is how Lake Chalet has generously offered to sponsor the event (yep, food at the meet and greet/book signing will be delicious!)
As we mentioned in our previous post, we are ironing out the details. We can’t wait to share with you all the amazing prizes and giveaways we have in store for you!
